Kyle Jones began playing piano at the age of four after convincing his parents to begin lessons by rushing to the front of church at the end of every service to watch the pianist play the postlude. His relationship with music elevated him as a performer, director, and composer.

After earning his Bachelors of Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado, he followed his other passion for the outdoors to the western slope where he began teaching choir for middle and high school. Kyle has built a reputation as a versatile performer directing musical theater, playing for high-end events, and spending many years at a piano bar. His favorite venues include the Hotel Colorado, Splendido, the Maroon Creek Golf Club, and churches such as First Presbyterian in Glenwood Springs and the Aspen Chapel.

He has a passion for music education and works with many local school choir programs and non profits such as Jazz Aspen Snowmass and the Aspen Music Festival and School. He is most proud of is private piano studio where he passes on his passion for music to the next generation of pianists.

When not involved in music, Kyle is passionate about community building and the outdoors. Kyle serves the City of Glenwood Springs on the Arts and Culture Board and Planning and Zoning and has been on multiple non profit boards. He has climbed all the 14ers, is a prolific skier and mountain biker, and loves being outside with his wife Lindsay and their dog Sam.
