And you will be my Witness in Jerusalem, and in all judea and samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1:8

We believe that each person is made in the image of God and has unique gifts and abilities intended to be used for God’s glory both in the church and beyond its walls.
There are many ways to serve through our various ministries.

Who & How We Serve
in Eagle Valley and Beyond

Loaves and Fishes Cafe
Free Community Dinner

Since 2004, members and friends of ERPC have prepared and served a free hot meal every Wednesday night at 6:00. This meal is open to the community and is served in our Fellowship hall.  We also prepare meals to be delivered to seven home-bound seniors.

River Valley Food Bank
Distribution Site

ERPC is now weekly distribution site for food from the Eagle River Valley Food Bank.
Free of charge; you'll find a variety of fresh produce, dairy and bread as well as shelf-stable grocery items
Food can be picked up anytime.

Disaster Assistance
Hygiene Kits

As part of the PCUSA Global Missions efforts, each year our church assembles 100 Hygiene Kits to be sent to areas of the US and the world for relief in times of natural disaster.

ERPC is a participating church in this project, which supports the nutrition, education and health care of orphans at the Heather Chimhoga Orphan Care center. We send financial support and are linked as monthly “prayer partners.”

Habitat for Humanity
Build Days

Our church houses the regional office of Habitat for Humanity. Each year we put on our tool belts and participate in Build Days.  We are excited to co sponsor
this year’s Faith Build Day.

Bright Future

Our church supports the Bright Future Foundation through financial contributions and by encouraging participation in the Buddy-Mentor program.

Peace & Global
Witness Offering

Each year on World Communion Sunday ERPC participates in the PCUSA Peace and Global Witness Offering. These funds are directed 25% to our local congregation, 25% to Denver Presbytery and 50% to support PCUSA’s peacemaking and reconciliation missions throughout
the world.

One Great Hour
of Sharing Offering

Each year PCUSA churches worldwide participate in this special offering during the season of Lent.  The funds are divided between the Presbyterian Disaster Assistance, Presbyterian Hunger Program and Self-Development of People projects.

Buena Vista
Prison Ministry

We annually support Chaplain Dan Ehlers’ ministry, remembering Jesus words in answer to the question: “When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?” and the King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:39-40)

We celebrate the dedication of each new Habitat home with a gift of a hand made quilt to the adults and each of the children in their new home, lovingly made by our ERPC Quilters.

Annual Holiday Mission
Salvation Army

Each Christmas our congregation’s
families generously participate in the Salvation Army Adopt-a-Family program.

Annual Holiday Mission
Samaritan's Purse
Operation Christmas Child

Each Christmas our congregation’s
families generously participate in Samaritan’s Purse Operation
Christmas Child.
